Call it your comfort zone or what, but it is definitely where your heart and whole self truly belongs. You may even say that staying at home is boring but when you finally get the chance to be out of your house for a long time, you will surely miss that ‘boring’ place.

While you are away, you can certainly think of your normal days spent at the comforts of your own house. You think of yourself sitting on your favorite couch while watching that favorite series of yours. Then you pause it and goes to the kitchen looking for something to cook. And there you find easy-to-cook pancakes and immediately decided to cook some for yourself.

After that moment in the kitchen, you sit back and finishes what you are watching while munching those palatable pancakes. And when the series is finally over, you decide to breathe some fresh air and grasp some sunlight in your system. You go out and stayed at your ever-favorite spot, the pergola outside your house. From there you enjoy the view of your amazing wooden gazebo designs with pants of your mother surrounding it.

Then you choose to go back inside the house, grab that unfinished readings of yours and goes to your ‘my-favorite-color-painted-room’. You lie down in your most comfortable position; opens the window, and starts reading. You hear the chirps of birds, the leaves falling from a tree and; sees a view of that beautiful sky.

But suddenly, in a blink of an aye, you realize that you are not at home. That is the time you can personally attest that home is not at all boring. It is one place you surely will miss. and you wait for that tiem to come when you finally get to say that you are ‘home sweet home’.

Trellises make for a nice statement piece in the garden.  They can also be utilized in a variety of patio settings as well.  If you’re ever leaning toward building something more substantial, or remodeling your patio, then take a look at what a pergola might be able to do for your space.  Sometimes, the terms arbor or pergola are used interchangeably.  You can think of a pergola as a “3-D” trellis.  In other words, trellises are typically more flat structures that either sit against a wall or other fence and provide a support framework for growing plants and vines or vegetables in the garden.  An arbor is often a slightly smaller version of a pergola.  You’ll often see these used as entrance ways into the garden or patio areas.

More often than not, these structures are made of wood.  Commonly, cedar or redwood are the first choices.  The reason is simple – these woods stand up well to the elements.  They actually weather to a nice silvery-grey color.  If you have ever seen an old deck like this, then you can imagine how that look could really add depth and character to a garden or patio space.  But, if you prefer something more substantial or in less need of any maintenance, you could get something made of metal as well.  There are elegant looking iron looking trellises as well.  Whatever type you choose, it is sure to enhance your backyard space.
